I have been a journalist and investor in Canadian exploration companies for years. Because of the exceptional returns, we decided to create the Gold&Discovery Fund in 2008. Over 200, mainly Dutch accredited investors, have invested some $40 million in total so far. (www.gdfund.nl +72% in 2009)
In August 2007 my first book When the dollar falls was published. In this book I warned for a possible collapse of the world's financial system. Almost 50.000 copies have been sold in the Netherlands. A second bestseller The permanent oil crisis, covering the consequences of Peak Oil, was published in 2008. At the end of 2009 Survive the credit crisis was published.
Early 2009 I started Amsterdamgold.com, which operates www.amsterdamgold.com, a web shop for gold and silver bullion. We sold over $40 million of bars in the first 18 months. Soon we will start the production and sales of our own silver and gold coins in our own production facility.
